This U.S. Army film directed by Frank Capra portrays Japan as a nation determined to rule the world through military conquest. Production began in 1942 but due to several delays and revisions the film was not released until August 1945. December 7, 2016, marked the 75th anniversary of the Japanese attack on the U.S. Pacific Fleet at Pearl Harbor. Almost 2,400 Americans were killed and almost 1,200 wounded.
