The House Science, Space, and Technology Committee heard testimony on the National Aerospace Plane (NASP) program, a project currently under development by the U.S. government. Designers of the X-30 aim to create a plane capable of hypersonic flight orbit. Witnesses from the aerospace industry and the U.S. Air Force reviewed government funding and attempted to project the future costs of the project. close
