Assistant Defense Secretary Edward Warner, John Tilelli of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and John Scott Redd, acting assistant deputy chief of Naval Operations reviewed the military lessons of the 1991 Persian Gulf conflict and how they are being implemented U.S. defense strategy. This hearing was held by the Senate Armed Services Subcommittee on Military Readiness and Defense Infrastructure and the Subcommittee on Coalition Defense and Reinforcing Forces. These subcommittees are chaired by Democratic Senators John Glenn of Ohio and Carl Levin of Michigan, respectively. close
