Several Veterans Affairs Department officials and the inspector general from the Government Accountability Office testified on delays in veterans' health care and reports of some Veterans Administration medical facilities manipulating data to hide those delays. Debra Draper said “blind scheduling” was partly to blame for the issues. “Blind scheduling” is a situation in which appointments are made for veterans without contacting them. close
