Martha Raddatz talked about her book, The Long Road Home: A Story of War and Family, published by Putnam. She described what she learned from soldiers in Iraq and their families back home while writing the book. She also talked about U.S. policy in Iraq and military operations under General David Petraeus. She has been to Iraq 13 times since the war began. She responded to telephone calls and electronic mail.
