The House International Relations Committee held a hearing on United States policy toward Iran. Among the topics they addressed were Iranian nuclear programs and potential weapons development, possible Security Council sanctions on Iran, Russian and Chinese reluctance to take punitive measures against Iran, Iran’s connection to terrorist organizations, and recent statements by Iranian leaders.
