The Senate held an impeachment trial for New Orleans federal Judge Thomas Porteous for corruption and engaging in a kickback scheme with a Louisiana law firm.
Congressmen Adam Schiff and Bob Goodlatte are the House impeachment managers, and Harold Damelin and Mark Dubester are attorneys for the House prosecution team. Jonathan Turley, P.J. Meitl, and Daniel O’Connor are Judge Porteus' attorneys.
This was the third day of the trial.
