A month after devastating tornadoes in Oklahoma, scientists and researchers testified before the House Science Subcommittee about advances in technology which provided improved predictions of severe storms and tornadoes. They said that continued improvements in radar technology would allow meteorologists to better predict tornadoes, hail size, and varying types of storms in smaller regions of the country. close
