Patrick Fitzgerald spoke to students, families and guests about the importance of public service, describing many of his experiences as a prosecutor and U.S. attorney. He also talked about his life and his family. He responded to audience members' questions.

Mr. Fitzgerald received an honorary degree at the Amherst College commencement exercises the next day.

Mr. Fitzgerald, an Amherst graduate, was the special prosecutor in the Lewis “Scooter” Libby case. close
