John Norberg talked about the book he co-authored, Spacewalker: My Journey in Space and Faith as NASA’s Record-Setting Frequent Flyer, and about the role Purdue University has played in the history of flight, aeronautical engineering, and the U.S. space program. In 1930 Purdue University became the first U.S. university to offer college credit for flight training. The Purdue University School of Aeronautics and Astronautics was formally established in 1945. In the book, Mr. Norberg and astronaut Jerry Ross recount the life and career of Mr. Ross, a Purdue University graduate and former NASA astronaut.
