Senators John McCain (R-AZ), Lindsey Graham (R-SC), and Kelly Ayotte (R-NH) came to the floor to talk about the September 11, 2012, Benghazi attack that resulted in the deaths of four Americans including U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens. They commented on the bipartisan report released the previous day by the Senate Intelligence Committee faulting both the intelligence community and State Department for failing to increase security and share information with the U.S. military that could have prevented the attacks. They also criticized a recent New York Times article that found that al-Qaida was not involved. close
