Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) talked about the Senate’s domestic agenda and the importance of supporting the middle class. He blamed Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) for turning the Senate into a “graveyard of ideas.” Senator McConnell said he would change things in the Senate should Republicans win control after the 2014 mid-term elections.

This was the keynoter speech of a forum on the conservative domestic agenda at 50th anniversary of “the Great Society.” "Solutions for the Middle Class: The New Conservative Policy Thinking" was held at the American Enterprise Institute and co-sponsored by the YG Network and National Affairs. close
