In the 10th hearing on the reauthorization bill for the Intermodal Surface Transportation and Efficiency Act, subcommittee members heard testimony concerning funding for highway safety programs. Several senators and highway safety experts and advocates testified about various safety issues, including drunk driving, cargo transportation and mandatory safety device laws. close
