Michael Rubin talked about U.S. policy options in response to escalating violence in Iraq. In June 2014, the militant group ISIS* had seized several cities in northern and western Iraq. He reacted to a video clip of President Obama talking the previous day about possible U.S. responses. Mr. Rubin talked about his recent trip to Iraq, areas of tension in Iraq beyond the Sunni/Shiite conflict, and measures that could slow the flow of insurgents into the country.
