The “dignified transfer” ceremony of the remains of Major General Harold Greene to Dover Air Force Base was shown. Secretary of the Army John McHugh and Army Chief of Staff Raymond Odierno were among those in attendance. The veteran of 34 years of service died in Afghanistan August 5, 2014, after a gunman dressed as an Afghan soldier fired on allied troops. The 55-year old soldier was the highest-ranking U.S. officer to be killed in combat since the Vietnam War.
