Representative Paul Ryan (R-WI) spoke about budget negotiations between House and Senate conferees, immigration, deficit reduction and the 2016 presidential race. In his remarks he said there had been progress during recent 2014 budget talks, but he said Republicans would not accept closing tax loopholes as part of the deal. He also said there was no way to pass immigration reform through the House, and that he had made no decisions about running for President in 2016.
