House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chair Darrell Issa (R-CA) talked about current and upcoming investigations by his committee. Topics included his proposed legislation, the Issa-Ross Postal Reform Act, which would eliminate postal delivery on Saturdays and close post offices; Solyndra, an energy company that received economic stimulus funds and recently declared bankruptcy; and the phone hacking scandal surrounding News Corp. He also responded to telephone calls and electronic communications.
