As part of an American Enterprise Institute conference titled, “Welfare Reform at Year One: How Are Employers, Churches, and Former Recipients Adapting,” panelists talked about . The panelists discussed steps businesses can take to hire former welfare recipients and the effects on both employers and employees. Panelist Eric Brown said he had in the past received welfare and was a graduate of Marriott’s “Pathways to Work” program. The panelist also responded to question from audience members. close
