He mentioned Travel as a Political Act by Rick Steves; The Economic Naturalist’s Field Guide: Common Sense Principles for Troubled Times by Robert H. Frank; The Housing Boom and Bust by Thomas Sowell; Unscientific America: How Scientific Illiteracy Threatens our Future by Chris Mooney and Sheril Kirshenbaum. The fall 2009 titles he mentioned were The Arabs: A History by Eugene Rogan and The Citizen’s Constitution: An Annotated Guide by Seth Lipsky. He also talked about his career, his role as publisher, and the book business and the exposition. Mr. Sherer was interviewed at BookExpo America 2009 in the Jacob K.
