Panelists focused on the problems of teenage hazing and dating violence. Darlene Johnson defined teen dating violence and stalking. She stated that each year 1.5 million high school students experienced dating violence.

“Related High-Risk Behaviors: Hazing and Teen Dating Violence” was a break-out session of the day-long summit “Keeping Kids Safe: Opportunities and Challenges in Bullying Prevention,” hosted by the Department of Education. It was the fourth summit of the Federal Partners in Bullying Prevention, an inter-agency working group. close
