The September 11, 2012, attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya, and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives' 2009-10 “Fast and Furious” gun smuggling sting operation were two of the examples they cited to discuss the relationship and role of the executive and legislative branch.
