As part of the 10th annual convention of the American Muslim Council, several speakers talked about human rights in Palestine, continuing violence in the region, and the stalled peace process with Israel. Council awards were presented to Abuzaakouk and Bitar. Former Congressman Findley is the author of Silent No More. Mr. Bitar produced the film Jerusalem’s High Cost of Living.
