Jake Tapper talked about his book, The Outpost: An Untold Story of American Valor, an account of one of America’s deadliest battles in Afghanistan. Benjamin Busch talked about his memoir, Dust to Dust, in which he recounts his childhood in rural New York, Marine training in North Carolina, and deployment during the worst of the war in Iraq. Brian Castner talks about his book, The Long Walk: A Story of War and the Life That Follows, in which he portrays the toll war exacts on the men and women who are fighting it.
