Workers spoke to reporters about their opposition to proposed changes to rules governing payment of overtime. The news conference was held outside the Labor Department after a dispute over scheduling a room inside the department. Morty Bahr, president of the Communications Workers of America, and Richard Trumka, secretary and treasurer for the American Federation of Labor and Congress of Industrial Organizations, were among the speakers at the event. close
