The Oval Office was discussed from an historical perspective. Several clips were shown to depict the changes that the Oval Office has gone through. The Oval Office was first designed at the turn of the century during Theodore Roosevelt’s administration and was moved in 1934 to the newly designed West Wing. It has served each subsequent U.S. president as his official place of work.
