Phone lines were open for viewer calls on the latest jobs numbers from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, which showed the unemployment rate fell to 5.9 percent in September 2014.

Josh Zumbrun also talked by phone about the factors behind the jobs report and discussed how jobs added to the economy and people dropping out of the workforce affected the unemployment rate.

A video clip was shown of President Obama speaking about the economy the previous day in Princeton, Indiana.

The program included a video clip from the C-SPAN’s Local Content Vehicles (LCVs) stop on their “2014 LCV Cities Tour” in Boulder, Colorado, and a clip of the previous day’s Colorado gubernatorial debate. close
