Telephone lines were open for viewer comments on the Obama administration’s announcement regarding a special enrollment deadline extension beyond the March 31 deadline for signing up for insurance on healthcare.gov. Some people who had had trouble getting coverage on the Web site were allowed a short delay.

Washington Post national security reporter Ellen Nakashima was interviewed by phone about President Obama’s proposed changes in the methods used by the National Security Agency to collect and store data.

Dahlia Lithwick reviewed the previous day’s Supreme Court oral argument in Sebelius v. Hobby Lobby Stores. The case involves the provision of the Affordable Care Act that mandates contraception coverage, and whether for-profit corporations can deny employees that coverage based on the religion of its owners. close
