Former President Bill Clinton spoke to bloggers and activists about the importance of the current time in political history. In his remarks he spoke about pieces of his legacy, drawing comparisons between his battle for health care overhaul to the current reform efforts and even angrily defending the compromise that became “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” for the military when a protester in the audience shouted at him.

He also made an oblique reference to Secretary of State Clinton’s remarks in Africa where she was angered by a question about what he might think on a particular subject, and continued by praising her work as secretary of state. close
