Clifton Truman Daniel, a grandson of President Truman, and atomic bomb survivors from Hiroshima and Nagasaki met with students from Bayside High School in New York City. They talked about the decision to use atomic weapons during World War II and what it was like to live through an atomic attack. After presentations, the students directed questions to Mr. Daniel and the survivors.
