Speakers included former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, who grew up in Birmingham, Alabama, U.W. Clemon, who was a student at Miles College in Birmingham in 1962-63 and took part in the protests, and Doug Jones, Jr., who prosecuted two of the 16th Street Baptist Church bombers in the late-1990s and early 2000s.
