President Obama spoke about the Gulf of Mexico oil spill following a cabinet member meeting about efforts to stop the spill and communities affected by the spill. In his remarks, he said, “I will not tolerate more fingerpointing or irresponsibility,” referring the the heads of BP, equipment manufacturers, and the federal agencies in charge of oversight.
