The Senate Commerce, Science Transportation Committee under the leadership of Senator Conrad Burns, R-Montana, heard testimony on recent evidence that life exists on Mars. NASA researchers discovered what appear to be microscopic life forms in a meteorite that came from Mars. The witness list included Ernest Moniz, Office of Science & Technology Policy Associate Director, Wes Huntress, NASA Space Science Program Administrative Assistant, David McKay, NASA Johnson Space Center Exploration Assistant, Nancy Hinman, University of Montana Assistant Professor of Geology, and Harry McSween, University of Tennessee Geological Sciences Department. close
