House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi held her weekly legislative briefing with reporters. In her comments she said President Obama’s endorsement of same-sex marriage “filled my heart with joy” and said she does not believe the issue will hurt him in the presidential election. She also talked about the ongoing budget debate and disagreement over how to pay for cuts in student loan interest rates.
