Alison Staudinger and Deb Anderson talked about the life and career of political cartoonist, Lyle Lahey. Lahey was an award winning political cartoonist in the Green Bay area from 1968-2005 and tackled both local and national issues. When Lahey died in 2013, his wife gave his original work to the Cofrin Library at the University of Wisconsin - Green Bay in an effort to preserve decades of history.

C-SPAN’s Local Content Vehicles (LCVs) made a stop in their “2014 LCV Cities Tour” in Green Bay, Wisconsin, from September 20-26 to feature the history and literary life of the community. Working with the Time Warner Cable local affiliate, they visited literary and historic sites where local historians, authors, and civic leaders were interviewed. The history segments air on American History TV (AHTV) on C-SPAN3 and the literary events/non-fiction author segments air on BookTV on C-SPAN2. close
