Chris Hughes discussed digital journalism and trends in social media. The co-founder of Facebook, he recently purchased The New Republic. He talked about his vision for the company and how to better engage an online audience. He said that there was a surfeit of opinion pieces available, and called for dialogue rather than provocative writing. He was interviewed by Alex Jones and responded to questions from members of the audience.
