Melissa Koch talked about the Huntley Project Museum of Irrigated Agriculture, the impact of the Huntley Irrigation Project, how the system worked and why it was such a success in south central Montana. Agriculture is Montana’s largest industry.

C-SPAN’s Local Content Vehicles (LCVs) made a stop in their “2013 LCV Cities Tour” in Billings, Montana from September 9-13 to feature the history and literary life of the community. Working with the Charter Communications local affiliate, they visited literary and historic sites where local historians, authors, and civic leaders were interviewed. close
