Secretary Kathleen Sebelius updated the committee on the status of fixing the ongoing difficulties with the Affordable Care Act’s HealthCare.gov insurance exchanges. She said many improvements had been made, but much more work still needed to be done. In responding to a question as to why she did not decide to shut down the site until all issues were resolved, she that accord to experts' analysis, doing so would not help.
