Professor Randy Roberts talked about the connections between popular culture and World War II in films such as Casablanca and The Fighting Seabees and in songs such as “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy of Company B.” Professor Roberts also described how patriotic sentiments made their way into comic books like Captain America. He responded to questions from students in the audience.
