House Republican leaders spoke to reporters before meeting with a group of CEOs in Washington to discuss the debt and deficit with congressional leaders and the president. Speaker Boehner said that Republicans were willing to consider new sources of revenue as part of the solution to avoid the “fiscal cliff,” but would not consider raising marginal tax rates on upper income earners.
