Stephen Moore talked about discord among House Republicans over “fiscal cliff” negotiations between the White House and House Speaker John Boehner. In an op-ed column, Mr. Moore spoke of disappointment by some House conservatives with Speaker Boehner’s performance especially with the “Plan B” proposal allowing for higher tax rates for those earning $1 M (the bill was pulled after it failed to gain enough support). “Fiscal cliff” referred to the impending tax increases and budget cuts at the end of 2012 if Congress failed to reach a budget agreement.
