Representative Richard Gephardt (D-MO) talked about the future of Social Security and Medicare. He also commented on the situation in Kosovo. Representative Rosa DeLauro (D-CT) spoke about the opportunity Congress has to use the budget surplus to strengthen the Medicare system and ensure retirement security by saving Social Security. Rep.
