Celebrities, politicians, and business leaders were shown arriving and mingling at the 20th annual White House Correspondents' Garden Brunch, held before the White House Correspondents' Association Dinner. The event was held to raise awareness for Citizens United for Research in Epilepsy (CURE) and the Miss America Foundation’s project to encourage women to pursue STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) education. The CURE Heroes Award was presented to Captain Patrick Horan, who received a head injury in Iraq. The brunch, hosted by Tammy Haddad, was held at Georgetown’s Beall-Washington home, owned by businessman Mark Ein. close
