Panelists talked about efforts to help the reintegration of returning war veterans. The event included opening remarks by Colonel Rich Morales, executive director of the White House’s Joining Forces program. He was followed by a panel discussion on ways veterans can bring skills back to their home communities.

The GWU McCourt School of Public Policy 2014 Public Issue Forum, “From Nation-Building to Community Building: Capitalizing on the Strength of Our Veterans Here at Home,” was held at the Women in Military Service for America Memorial at Arlington Cemetery. close
