Jack Gerard delivered the American Petroleum Institute’s annual “State of American Energy” address in the Andrew Mellon Auditorium. Reporting on the industry’s investments in the U.S., he said that energy is fundamental to America’s future and more domestic production only translates into more economic growth, jobs, and government revenue while punitive taxation would be counterproductive.
