On the first anniversary of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shootings, Tom Manger, of the Major Cities Chiefs Association, and Richard Stanek, of the Major County Sheriffs' Association, talked about federal gun policy. While both organizations are concerned about gun violence and agree on many measures, they differ on issues such as banning assault weapons, sales of high capacity magazines, and gun registration. They responded to telephone calls and electronic communications.

Sheriff Stanek participated by video link from Minneapolis. close
