Dieter Dettke, from East Germany and a professor Georgetown University’s Security Studies and German and European Studies Centers, talked about the 25th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall. Topics included the circumstances that led to the fall of the Wall, U.S.-Germany relations, and the impact of a unified Germany and its role in the world.
