Joyce King talked about her book, Exonerated: A Brief and Dangerous Freedom, in which she looks at the life of James Woodward, a man who was wrongfully convicted and imprisoned for 27 years for a 1980 rape and murder in Dallas, Texas. She introduced several other men who had been exonerated after imprisonment before she spoke at the Dallas Institute of Humanities and Culture. Ms. King was then interviewed by Larry Allums and responded to questions from members of the audience. close
