Officials from the Food and Drug Administration and the Government Accountability Office testified on the findings of an report on the FDA’s efforts to address drug shortages. Douglas Throckmorton of the FDA said the shortage was declining, but also stated the number remained too high and that the agency was doing what it could for further reductions. close
