Senator Tom Coburn talked about congressional efforts to reach an agreement on a continuing resolution to fund the government for the remainder of fiscal year 2011. He also responded to telephone calls and electronic communications. Senator Coburn is a member of the “Gang of Six” senators working on a bipartisan plan to reduce the federal deficit and debt and was one of the six senators who served on President Obama’s deficit commission.
