Mr. Capuzzo talks about his book Close to Shore: A True Story of Terror in an Age of Innocence, published by Random House. The book is about the summer of 1916 when a great white shark attacked beachgoers along the New Jersey shore, killing four people. These were the first fatal shark attacks in the United States and resulted in emergency measures to protect vacationers. After the presentation the author answered questions from members of the audience.
